Oak Hurst Golf Course, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Bullard, Texas, off Highway 69 between Tyler, Texas and Jacksonville, Texas.
The Championship Oak Hurst Golf Course is located ajacent to it's sister course, The Executive Peach Tree Golf Course. Both Golf Courses offer novice golfers and experienced golfers different challenges.
The Oak Hurst golf course opened in 1993 and is designed by Carlton Gipson.
Oak Hurst Golf Course is a par-72 challenge that measures a maximum distance of 6,813 yards. With five sets of tees, this championship golf course offers varying challenges to golfers of any level of expertise. The Oak Hurst golf course has larger, contoured greens with water coming into play on 11 of the 18 holes. The majority of the holes were built through the tall East Texas pines and hard wood trees. The Oak Hurst golf course has been the host to Mini Tour tournaments and PGA Club Professional championships.
The Oak Hurst Course was featured in the Dallas Morning News article "Diamonds in the Rough", which spotlighted great golf courses around the state of Texas that are not in metropolitan areas.

Talking to other golfers on the course the staff had lost the greens they are working hard to recover them. Very friendly environment.
